The first weeks of Piehouse being open have sped by but the memories will last forever .. sounds corny right? But oh so true! Our first customers walking through the door, new friends, the love of pie in everyone’s eyes and the realization that my dream is now finally a reality is so very SWEET!

We can’t thank you enough for your patronage and kind words. I’m so glad you’re enjoying our labor of love. It brings me such joy to see you gathering at the family table enjoying coffee and conversation with a slice of pie.

Thank you for your patience and understanding when we’re sold out or something didn’t come out just right.

We want everyone to have their dessert so we’ve just hired two new bakers! We want to give everyone our best and we hope you’ll come in again to see what changes are happening and of course sample something new! You have my sincerest thank you!

Also, I’d like to tell you a little about me and my daughter. I grew up in northeastern Nebraska on a dairy farm. Which is where I learned to bake at an early age… some of my recipes came from home. And my daughter, Sarah, who we adopted from Korea. You will see her here and there trying to be of service at the front counter. I did this for her and I… she has severe anxiety. I want to give her a place to work with Mom. My husband, John, works from home and I have a son, Tim, who lives back in Omaha, NE.

Your generosity and love of old fashioned desserts has made our little pie shop a huge success. Thank you! So stop in, stay awhile and always find something new to try!
